After over a decade as an aircraft engineer in the Royal Air Force, Kieron retrained as an electronic security technician in 1999. He joined a national fire and security company, providing service support for Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems across domestic, retail, and commercial sectors.
Driven by a strong commitment to public service and a lifelong ambition, Kieron later pursued and secured a full-time operational role in the Fire & Rescue Service. He excelled in several leadership positions while continuing to work in the Electronic Fire & Security industry.
After leaving the Fire & Rescue Service, Kieron fully dedicated himself to the Electronic Fire & Security sector. His roles have spanned Service Engineer, Fire Suppression System Designer and Trainer, Senior Engineer, and Field Line Manager. In 2022, he transitioned into contracting, collaborating with Ben Brady on various fire and security projects within the hotel and hospitality industry.
In 2025, Kieron and Ben formalised their partnership, rebranded, and established Charles Brady Limited.

After earning a Higher National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton, Ben began his career in the telecoms sector, helping roll out early fibre and IT network infrastructure. During this time, he developed a keen interest in Electronic Fire & Security systems, leading to a career spanning the service and installation of high-security systems across healthcare, law enforcement, and military establishments.
Ben has held key roles with organisations, including supporting police stations and custody suites, operating as a Service Engineer, and delivering critical systems across rail, healthcare, and secure environments. He has also worked on NHS-secured accommodation, and with Roke Manor on specialised ANPR and MOD projects. His experience also includes business development roles and subcontracting to national providers.
Outside of work, a unique passion of Ben's is curating and restoring vintage fire alarm panels, with aspirations to build a display that will inspire the next generation of alarm engineers.
Ben collaborated with Kieron on several hospitality sector projects before officially joining forces in 2025 to establish Charles Brady Limited.
